Love, Joy, Peace...
Increasing mobility one ramp at a time.

We are a multi-denominational church group that wants to serve as GOD's hands to help those in need.
Brief History of the Kane Regional Ramp Ministry
2013 The ministry started as a mission of the Kane District of the United Methodist Church, Dara Sterling was the leader. That year we built one ramp after being trained by people from the Erie/Meadville Ramps of folks. Ever since, we have been building ramps in the following areas: Cameron, Northern Clarion, Elk, Forest, McKean, Western Potter, and Warren counties. That first ramp was reclaimed in subsequent years after the house burned, the ramp was undamaged!
2014 A change in leadership took place but no ramps were built.
2015 Reverend Ricky D Nelson took on the ministry which was hosted at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Youngsville.
2016 The Kane District Union purchase an enclosed tool trailer for the ramp ministry.
2018 Ricky Nelson was moved to a different church and Dean Clough took over coordinating the ministry.
2022 After working jointly helping the group from Youngsville, Randall Metcalf started a group in the Emporium area that covers the Cameron and Elk county needs, building their first ramp that October. At the Time he was able to work with the Northern Tier Community Action Corporation and a Memorandum-of-Understanding was established to work jointly.
2024 The ministry was incorporated, April 25, as a Non-Profit Corporation in Pennsylvania. In December of that year we were granted 501c3 status by the IRS. We were able to work with the Warren/Forest Economic Opportunity Council to get some grant money for materials to be used in those to counties.
2025 Saw us install the most ramps ever in a year. 86 total ramps, 68 by the Youngsville Group and 18 by the Emporium crew! This year we became part of the annual Warren Gives. We also purchased a 16 foot trailer that can be used to haul materials and supplies as needed.
